The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System is engaged in a program to upgrade all of the aging branch library buildings with the goal of improving the patron experience, introducing new technology, and expanding the spectrum of services offered to the community. The Greenbelt Branch Library is a 2-story facility that has been revitalized with new circulation and information desk configurations, greater numbers of public access computer stations, and refreshing new finishes and furniture throughout. Some of the more popular improvements include the new WiFi lounges, recreational reading areas, and study rooms where young adults have the opportunity to collaborate on school work.
