A 19th century, historic train depot located near the central business district of Baltimore City has been revived to serve a new purpose as a crisis intervention center operated by the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services. The completed project was honored with the Wintergreen Award for Excellence in Green Building by the Maryland Chapter of the US Green Building Council.
The project also holds the unique distinction of being the first property owned by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
