Project type: Multi-family Housing

Twelve scattered site row homes located in the Park Heights community of Baltimore were renovated to provide transitional housing opportunities for those in need. These units have the unique distinction of serving families; a population of the homeless that the St. Vincent De Paul Society recognized was desperately under served. Prior to the establishment of these units, the families of West Baltimore that were experiencing a financial or domestic crisis would have to find shelter in facilities where the fathers had to be separated from their wife and children.  The primary goal of the project was to keep the families together as they worked their way through a time of crisis.
