An exhibit building was developed for the Maryland Historical Trust for the purpose of displaying an inventory of historic agricultural equipment that documents and celebrates the heritage of farming in southern Maryland. One of the most significant items in the collection is a large steam tractor that is put into operation during special events at the Museum.

The design crafted by Gant Brunnett Architects integrates the new building within the historic setting, maintaining compatibility with the adjacent historic structures.
