Orchestrating the operations of (14) separate divisions within the Student Services Department of a local Community College into a workable design solution required exceptional architectural talents coupled with diplomatic people skills. Frank Gant successfully navigated the maze of priorities and staff issues to develop a design for a new Student Services Center serving the registration, career counseling, and financial processes.
The student population at the Prince George’s Community College is growing at an explosive rate. The renovation and expansion of the Student Services Department, located in Bladen Hall, addressed the tremendous volume of registration and counseling transactions. Advanced technology was incorporated to streamline the process and generate cost effectiveness.
